Founded in 2019, Rococo Hair Co. has quickly become one of the top salons in Albuquerque, NM. With over a decade of experience in the hair industry, licensed cosmetologist Tiffany Link realized her dream of owning a Salon. In early 2023 we opened a second location in Santa Fe, NM. Our Specialties

Color

We specialize in balayage, which is a soft hand-painted or foiled color service, customized to each guest. We also offer standard color services such as highlighting, all-over color, and root retouches.

Extensions

Our stylists are certified in Bello Haven, Bellami, and NBR methods of beaded row hair extensions. These hand-tied hair extensions are more comfortable, non-damaging, and give you the thick, long hair of your dreams.

Cutting

We offer razor and scissor cuts in fresh modern designs tailored to your unique style and face shape- it's also one of the easiest things you can do to improve the health of your hair.

Bridal Hair

We help you shine on your special day with romantic soft wedding and special event hairstyles to elevate your look to the next level.

Our stylists have varying price points based on their level of experience, what techniques they specialize in, etc., therefore, we welcome you to call us for the most accurate service price quote. Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept "walk-in" appointments?

  • We will if we have an opening, but we typically don't have same day availability. We would highly recommend making an appointment so that you are guaranteed a spot. Our appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible.

 

Should I schedule a consultation before booking an appointment?

  • Please call or text the Salon or schedule a free consultation appointment if you are unsure of what services to book. Some services require booking a consultation first, such as: color corrections, extensions, “vivid” hair colors, bleach and tone, and smoothing keratin treatments. 

Will I receive a reminder before my appointment?

  • You will receive an email and text reminder 48hrs and 24hrs before your appointment.

  • The message will also ask you to confirm your appointment. If you haven't confirmed at least 24hrs before your appointment, we will call you to check that you are still planning to come. 

What should I wear to my appointment?

  • We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing, without a high collar or fabric around your neck, and avoid wearing dangly earrings.

  • While we try our best to be careful, it is possible that hair color or lightener could get on your clothes and stain or bleach them. With this in mind, please do not wear any clothing that is extremely valuable or irreplaceable.

  • If you get cold easily, please bring a sweater. 

Should I come to my color appointment with dirty or clean hair?

  • It's best to come to your appointment with semi-clean hair that is completely dry and detangled. You don't need to wash your hair the same day as your appointment, just as long as it isn't dirty or oily as this can affect how the color processes. Please do not come with root cover up spray on your hair.

What does a haircut service include?

  • A haircut includes a consultation, hair wash, cut, blowdry, and your choice of curls, blowout, or straight styling.

What does a hair color service include?

  • There are many different types of color services. We try to include everything you need to reach your hair color goals in the price, no surprises. However, we may need to add on an additional charge to some services for longer, thicker hair because it takes the stylist more time and additional product to service that hair type. Color services include a consultation, hair wash, blowdry, and your choice of curls, blowout, or straight styling.

What is your cell phone policy?

  • To ensure a relaxing environment for all of our guests, please limit cell phone conversation length and volume. 

  • You are welcome to use your phone, laptop, or tablet during your appointment. If you are scheduled for a longer service, consider bringing a charger for your device.

 

Can I bring my children to my appointment?

  • We are usually very flexible with allowing children, however, please keep in mind that any salon has several safety hazards such as sharp objects, chemicals, hot tools, and glass. If children come with you to your appointment, they must be able to sit in our waiting area quietly to maintain a relaxing atmosphere for our other salon guests. 

Can I bring my pet to my appointment?

  • Unfortunately, New Mexico state laws prohibit us from allowing animals in the salon. Please leave your furry friends at home!

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We accept all major credit cards, Cash App, and cash.

 

How does the tipping process work? What is normal?

  • Our prices do not include gratuities for stylists. Tipping is optional, but if the service meets or exceeds your expectations it is definitely appreciated. The industry standard is 15%–20% of your total pre-tax service fee.

 

Do you sell Gift Cards?

  • Yes, we have gift cards available for sale. You can buy them in person, or we can email the recipient an e-gift card.

Do you offer discounts for seniors, military, etc.?

  • Not at this time.

Salon Policies

Late Policy-

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, you may need to have your service adjusted to fit within the time remaining. If the stylist feels that there will not be enough time to reach your hair goal, you may be asked to reschedule. If a stylist is running late and you need to reschedule due to a time conflict, there will be no cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy-

  • We kindly request that you give us 48hrs. notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to have enough time to schedule another client in that appointment space. Last-minute schedule changes directly affect our Stylists and their income. When there is a no-show or same day cancellation, it is difficult to get that spot filled. This leaves the Stylist without income for that appointment time.

Cancellation Fee-

  • If you notify us less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time that you will not be able to make it or you need to reschedule, we will charge your card on file 25% of the service cost. If you do not provide any notice and fail to show up for your appointment, we will charge your card on file 50% of the service cost. This fee goes directly to the Stylist. All clients must have a credit or debit card on file. All sensitive data is hidden and encrypted, and the card will only be charged if we do not receive proper notice.

How to Cancel-

  • Please call and/or text the salon or cancel through your square account. Do not email us- we won't get it!

Service Adjustments-

  • We want our clients to love their hair! All services are non-refundable, but if you feel that your service didn't quite meet your expectations, you can contact the salon within 7 days after your appointment to schedule an adjustment with your original stylist. Please keep in mind that some services like going lighter, removing box color, etc. take several sessions and therefore do not qualify as adjustments. The modification request cannot include additional lightening, a different end goal, or a different stylist. 

Service Refunds-

  • We do not offer refunds on services for any reason. Please contact the salon about getting a services adjustment with your original stylist.

Product Refunds-

  • We want you to love your products too! If you feel that you are not fully satisfied with products that you have purchased, we will provide a refund.

Right to Refuse Service-

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. This includes clients displaying inappropriate behavior or creating an unsafe environment. If we believe that we cannot provide the service or end goal that you desire, we will also recommend that you go seek hair services elsewhere.
